Absolutely. The Reusable Revolutionary fits from birth, with adjustable poppers for a snug fit on small babies and front tabs that sit clear of the umbilical cord stump. Many parents are pleasantly surprised to find that the double leg elastics contain those legendary newborn explosions far better than a disposable ever did.
Fit and softness are the priorities. Look for a nappy that adjusts for a newborn's shape, handles the cord stump comfortably and uses certified, skin-safe materials. Flexible absorbency is worth having too. Newborns feed constantly and a nappy that can be enhanced with our reusable nappy boosters takes a lot of the guesswork out of those first weeks.
In the early weeks, expect around 10 to 12 changes a day. A stash of 20 to 25 nappies means washing every two days without any last-minute panics. If you'd rather start smaller and build up, 15 is a comfortable place to begin.
