Fits neatly between the toilet seat and rim of toilet so the seat is secure and not too high. I prefer this design to the ones that sit on top of the seat.

Great idea but needs some adjustments

This toilet seat is great because it goes between the main seat and ceramic so even on our square toilet it just fits and doesnt wobble. My only issues are that the front isnt tall enough to protect from little boys peeing on the rim rather than in it and also that the back rest could be thinner so they can sit further back. My son is so close to the front that he barely gets his front parts in the hole. He is 2 and small for his age so can't see him getting long out of this product. So the general idea is great but if the company could make a few adjustments it could be even better and actual function properly.

Keep it clean

Little hands get everywhere so it's important to keep your toilet training seat clean inbetween use.

After each use, wipe clean any drips or sticky poo patches. Use a solution of 1 part water and 1 part white vinegar or an all-purpose disinfectant to spray all surfaces of the seat. Then they're good to go again!

Potty training tips

For a stress-free move away from nappies, start potty training when your toddler is showing signs they are ready to give it a go. Are they able to stay dry for up to 2 hours or during a nap? Do they ask to be changed and dislike the feeling of being wet? Are they showing signs of independence by doing things themselves?

It’s often good to stay at home for the first few days of potty training, making it much easier to clear up the occasional accident. Get your toddler used to their potty, by letting them carry it around with them during the day and move it where they like. You could even sit them on the potty fully clothed and let them read a book or play. Keep the potty within easy reach or even have a couple of potties throughout the home.

For some children, getting out of nappies through the night is a lot more challenging than the daytime. Be guided by your child and when you start to notice your child's nappies are more dry in the morning, that might be the right moment to start.

Once your child is potty training during the day, it might not be long before they are ready to try night-time too. However, every child is different and for some, it could take up to 2 years for a child to stay completely dry at night time. Children that are heavy sleepers might be completely unaware they need to go, and may not even realise when they wet the bed. When you are both ready, try getting your child to use the potty just before bedtime and as soon as they wake up too.
