First, adjust the poppers to get the right fit for your baby. Doing this before you change your wriggly baby will make things a lot easier. If you’re using liners (either Messless or Revolutionary Reusable), place one in the centre of the nappy. Next, lay your baby down on the open nappy and pull the front up, securing in place by using the adjustable tabs. Check that the boosters and fabric are all tucked inside and that the elastic edge sits in the leg line. For a comfortable fit you should be able to slide two fingers easily into the waistband at the front.
Our Revolutionary Reusable nappies are made from super-absorbent fabric rather than chemical gels that can be found in single-use nappies. Our fabrics and materials are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified which means they are free from nasties which will help with skin irritation and reduce the chance of nappy rash.
Washing your reusable nappies could not be easier. Store your reusable nappies for up to 3 days at most before washing. When wash day arrives, empty the contents of your Stay at home wet bag into the washing machine drum. For an economical and planet-friendly wash, it’s best to always do full loads but make sure you don't overload your washing machine. Filling your machine to around ¾ full will ensure your reusable nappies can wriggle around in the wash and get extra clean. We recommend washing your nappies at 40°C (but no more than 60°C ) with non-biological laundry detergent or our Bright and Mighty Laundry Sheets. There's no need to use fabric softener when washing, as this can affect the absorbency of your nappies. Add 3 tablespoons of Bright & mighty nappy cleanser to add a boost to your laundry and help tackle tough stains and odours.
Newborn poos are runnier as their diet is liquid. During this time, you can rinse off the poo under running water. This can be done in the toilet bowl or at the sink. If you use the toilet, hold on to one corner of the nappy firmly and let the clean water wash away the poo. If you use your sink, be sure to clean the sink afterwards.
Newborn poo doesn't need to be washed off before storing your dirty nappies until wash day, but it will help to reduce odours and staining.
When wash day comes, don't overload your washing machine to allow your nappies to wriggle around in the wash and get extra clean. 2 heaped tablespoons of Bright & mighty cleanser to your washing detergent drawer will add a boost to your laundry and help tackle tough stains and odours.
When you start weaning your baby onto solid food, you'll notice their poo will change. At this stage, our Messless liners or Revolutionary Reusable liners will make cleaning your nappies quicker and easier. Both of these are designed to sit inside the nappy to catch solids and help reduce soiling.
When your baby is young their nappy should be regularly checked and changed every 2-4 hours. You can store used nappies in your Stay at Home Wet Bag for up to 3 days before washing. With this in mind, for full-time use you'll need 20 nappies so that you have some to use while others are in the wash. Our Everything bundle comes complete with all 20 nappies plus a selection of accessories which is perfect for full-time use
My order arrived promptly. The pants have a lovely texture and quality. However my son is very sensitive to different textures and refused to wear them. Because of that I can't provide much more information.
As described
We have only been using these for a day but so far, so good! They have stopped most leaks and let my daughter know she is wet. Good fit and washed well first time.
My only gripe is the sizing. I bought based on waist size, which put my child firmly in the size 2-3yrs category, but when they arrived they *only just* fit. So I had to order more and pay again for the 3-4yrs. My child is 2.5yrs, but 98th percentile so what I’d say is if you know your child needs a bigger size in every other item you buy them, they probably need a bigger size in these too. Trust your parental knowledge, rather than the size chart.
Great bar that has worked fabulously on tomato sauce, spinach, plum, butternut squash… all round success! I now keep it in the kitchen ready to throw straight into any stains once the meal is done
