A bit too bulky

A bit too bulky for a 2 month old, I find it hard to fit into the nappy. You used to do inserts for up to 7kgs which were a bit smaller and fitted a smaller baby better. I am sure these will be good when my girl is bit older and we move onto larger nappies.

Time for a refresh

My son has been in mio duos for 2 years and whilst I wasn’t expecting to have to replace them at all, they are really long lasting and durable but after all that washing they cannot last forever. It is great I have been able to replace the insides reasonably cheaply to keep the nappies going hopefully for another 2 years with my next son.

Great system

I love these mio duo nappies. My little girl was 7lbs 2oz (3.24kg) at birth. I couldn't work out how to make them fit her at first so ended up using other means for the first week while I tried to research it. In the end I emailed bambino mio and they sent me instructions for a newborn fold for small babies. It works a treat and we used it from 3kg (she dropped a bit of weight as babies do) without too many issues one we ordered some nappy fasteners too. If you ever get stuck email customer services. These nappies are so versatile that there are folds to fit any baby. They dry quickly and always clean up nicely. Highly recommend them.

Easy to use

Was quite overwhelmed about using cloth nappies but this system is so easy. My only concern is the sizing on the website which states the cloth is suitable for babies over 4kg but the packaging states over 5kg. They are big for a newborn so am using muslin cloths on occasion. Still really happy with the product and they will last as baby grows.
