Bambino Mio has dynamic Sales and Marketing teams which cover all areas of marketing and spans across multiple worldwide markets and retailers. From humble beginnings as a small business set up in the English countryside, Bambino Mio now sell their multi award-winning products to parents around the world. 

ROLE OVERVIEW

Bambino Mio has recently secured a 13 million set to supercharge the brands growth. Significant investment is being made in the company’s infrastructure, technology and recruitment of skilled and experienced talent. It’s a very exciting time to come on board.

You will have overall commercial responsibility for your market, this covers new and existing business reporting directly to the Head of Sales.

This is not a hand-held role you will bring with you the relative experience and expertise which will grow and expand commercial knowledge within your team, your proven track record and your teams understanding of Bambino Mio products, culture & ethos will create the perfect platform for rapid growth.

You should have experience of working with retailers such as DM DROGORIE ROSSMAN MULLER KAUFLAND ALDI COOP or similar major grocery pharmacy retailers in Germany and across the DACH regions.

You will be a German national and demonstrate success in a similar role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Grow revenue in chosen market
  • Responsibility for setting and delivering commercial budget parallel with product forecast
  • Develop, strengthen and maintain relationships with buyers, continuously explore and open opportunities for the brand whilst delivering maximum margin and adhering to brand purpose
  • Create and execute account plans collaboratively with retailers, ensure regular meetings take please to drive growth and improve relationships.
  • Demonstrate a high level of commerciality, forward planning, promotion analysis.
  • You will pitch and represent the brand, embrace, understand and champion brand purpose and core values internally and externally.
  • Set and deliver team, department, business KPI’s
  • Lead, develop and manage your team with regular and effective performance review.
  • Provide transparency and accountability throughout the team to ensure department objectives and budgets are met
  • Champion department process and ways of working, lead by example.
  • Ensure a good flow of communication between departments so all key stakeholders are aware of market specific plans.
  • Provide key insights to the current process using data and make recommendations for improvements
  • Lead by example understand the process be part of the process, manage leads and understand the needs of your team.
  • Are able to set sales budgets and forecasts to align with the agreed business plan and demonstrate success.
  • Delivered within Bambino Mio’s Sustainability Framework and aligned to the B Corp Accreditation.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

  • Educated to degree level and / or demonstrates relative industry experience
  • Native to chosen market - Germany
  • Proven commercial success and high-level negotiation
  • Must have FMCG experience in relative market worked with supermarkets / grocery accounts.
  • Consideration will be given to candidates who come from a buying background in FMCG
  • Baby category would be advantageous.
  • Is able to demonstrate successful leadership
  • Is able to identify new business opportunities, support and manage your team to ensure that the opportunities and being delivered and converted in line with budget.
  • Has an organised approach: can set priorities, work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  •  Has excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Has a solution focused approach and able to ‘think on their feet.’
