Working closely with the wider Digital and Marketing teams, this role is responsible for the effective delivery of our CRM strategy supporting key metrics such as growth of our databases and revenue generation on our websites. This role will allow us to send more targeted and frequent communications to our customers across multiple touch points and languages. The role will report to the CRM Manager.

• Support the operational delivery of email marketing campaigns (and potentially other channels) to ensure they deliver the performance metrics and ROI.

• Work closely with the CRM Manager to devise an appropriate retention strategy and look at opportunities to send more triggered and automated emails at key parts of the customer journey.

• Brief marketing and creative teams on the content need for email, ensuring this is on brand and commercial.

• Copywrite & proofread email content.

• Design email marketing campaigns across key global markets - knowledge of HTML and Adobe suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat) are desired.

• Use Ometria, our Email Service Provider, to deliver and report on campaigns. Using data to inform future decisions and planning.

• Produce post-campaign analysis – monitoring and reporting on campaign results and making recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness

• Monitor competitor email activity.

• Ensure all campaigns comply with industry best practice.

• Ensure data is managed and processed in line with GDPR and other data protection policies.

•Suggest opportunities to nurture new channels, grow the database size and deliver incremental revenue to the business.


• A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in an email marketing role.

• Previous experience in managing multiple large-scale email marketing campaigns.

• Experience in building automated, lifecycle/customer journey email communications.

• Process driven with the highest levels of attention to detail.

• Comfortable with large volumes of data and the ability to use Excel to manipulate and report on performance.

• Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work collaboratively across a large digital and marketing team.

• Understanding of data segmentation.

• Knowledge of GDPR and data governance.

• Experienced user of Ometria or similar CRM system.

• Ability to work proactively on own initiative and able to work as part of a team.

• Confident user of HTML, CSS, InDesign & Photoshop.
